PRODUCT DATA SHEET — Shilajit Gummies
Internal research sheet. Source: supplier listing "Pure Himalayan Shilajit Gummy Candy Food Grade Healthcare Supplement With Honey Taste Shilajeet Fudge Seed" (Alibaba, product ID 1601382493484, Zhengzhou Huaguang Biotechnology). Supplier-stated throughout; re-confirm against a production spec sheet and COA before use. Read section 0 first — it changes how much of this you can trust.
0. Read this first — the label in the listing is another brand's
The Supplement Facts image in the supplier's description is a photograph of a finished retail product from an Indian brand, not from this factory. The panel reads: manufactured by Saectrum Lifescience Pvt Ltd, Pragathi Nagar, Hyderabad, Telangana, India, with an FSSAI licence number; imported by Stelcore Retail LLC, Marlton, New Jersey; feedback address at bebodywise.com; country of origin: India. The Alibaba listing itself states place of origin Henan, China. So the formula below is the Indian brand's formula, used by this supplier as a sales image. Treat it as an indication of what they can copy, not as a specification of what they will actually produce — and ask for their own panel before anything else.

** Daily Value not established. Percentages on this label are calculated against Indian RDA values, not US DVs — recalculate before any US label.
Other ingredients (partially legible): chicory root extract, pectin, natural flavour (tamarind), guar gum, and at least one further sweetener/humectant that could not be read from the image. Request the full list.
Note on the 3000 mg: the panel declares 3000 mg shilajit "from 300 mg of 10:1 extract" — meaning 300 mg of actual extract, expressed as a 3000 mg herb equivalent. Competitor listings often print the 3000 mg alone, which reads as ten times the real dose. Decide deliberately how we express it.
3. Dosage & use
-
Dose: 2 gummies daily ("have 2 gummies a day for optimum results")
-
Bottle lasts: 30 days
-
Gummy weight: 4 g each per the artwork (240 g / 60), against the listing's stated 3 g dose and "3g*60pcs" specification — see section 10
4. Product attributes & label claims
- No added sugar (badge on artwork; panel confirms 0 g added sugars, 2 g total sugars)
- 100% vegan (badge)
- Gluten free (badge)
- Pectin-based, so no gelatin
- Halal certified (listing)
- Flavour: Original on the listing and in our research sheet; the title says honey taste; the artwork says natural tamarind flavour — three different answers, see section 10
- Packaging: bottles, bulk, blister packs or to our requirement
5. Supplier-stated functions & benefit angles
- Energy support and metabolism (the listed effectiveness and main function)
- Positioned as 100% pure shilajit resin enhanced with black musli, gokshura, KSM-66 ashwagandha and the other botanicals above
- Highlighted on the listing: Himalayan organic shilajit as main ingredient; 24-month shelf life for long-term stability
6. Formula read
The shilajit does the work at 300 mg of 10:1 extract; everything else is present at token levels. KSM-66 at 40 mg is roughly a fiftieth of the studied dose, ginseng at 4 mg and the rest at 4–10 mg are label decoration rather than functional amounts. If we want the ashwagandha or ginseng to mean anything in our own SKU, the formula has to be rebuilt. As it stands this is a shilajit gummy with a herb list attached.
7. Target audience
-
Applicable people: adults
-
Not applicable: pregnant women, newborns
8. Physical, packaging & stability
-
Shelf life: 24 months / 2 years
-
Storage: cool, dry place
-
Single package size: 12 × 6.5 × 6.5 cm
-
Single gross weight: 0.2 kg — inconsistent with a 240 g net fill, see section 10
-
Manufacturing certificates cited: GMP, ISO, HACCP, HALAL, QS
9. Compliance flags
- The listing carries a California Proposition 65 consumer warning. For shilajit this usually means lead — shilajit is a documented heavy-metal risk and has been the subject of US recalls and warning letters. Batch-level heavy metal testing (lead, arsenic, mercury, cadmium) is non-negotiable here.
- Shilajit is sold in the US on energy and vitality structure/function language only. No testosterone, fertility, libido, muscle-building, anti-ageing or disease claims.
- The Indian label's % Daily Values are not US-compliant and the panel format would have to be rebuilt for a US Supplement Facts panel.
- Adults only, with an explicit pregnancy exclusion. Iron at 4.64 mg per serving also needs an accidental-overdose warning if this is sold in a household with children.
- Using any part of the third-party brand's artwork, panel or copy would be someone else's IP. Our label must be built from our own confirmed specification.
10. Open gaps & contradictions to resolve
-
Whose product is this? The listing sells a China-made gummy but illustrates it with an Indian brand's finished retail pack. Ask the supplier for their own Supplement Facts, their own photography, and confirmation of where the shilajit is sourced.
-
Gummy weight: listing says 3 g per gummy and "3g*60pcs"; the artwork says 8 g per 2-gummy serving and 240 g net. One of the two is wrong, and it changes cost per bottle.
-
Gross weight: 0.2 kg per unit does not fit a 240 g net fill plus packaging. Confirm.
-
Flavour: honey (title) vs original (listing and our sheet) vs tamarind (artwork). Decide and correct the research sheet.
-
Shilajit standardisation: fulvic acid percentage is not stated anywhere. That is the quality marker for shilajit — ask for it, plus purification method.
-
Iron source is not declared, and it is unclear whether the iron is added or native to the shilajit.
-
"Himalayan organic": organic certification for a mineral pitch is questionable; ask what certificate exists, if any.
-
Other ingredients list incomplete — the image resolution cut off part of the line.
-
Sweetener system: "no added sugar" with 2 g total sugars implies a polyol or a fruit-derived sugar. Polyols need a laxation warning above certain levels. Ask what it is.
-
Vegan, gluten-free and no-added-sugar badges come from the other brand's pack, not from this supplier — none of them are documented for us.
